One of human basic needs is the ‘need for consistency’. That is why the second step for film production companies in creating customer loyalty is providing your customer’s with consistency. Why is the local take-away store small and McDonalds so big. Because it provides a level of consistency the smaller store cannot provide. McDonalds does not provide a loyalty card. It does not need to. It provides a consistent product and a consistent level of service.

So rather than trumpet the benefits of having a loyalty program (I still believe these are important) - focus on being consistent.
